Vocal Tuition now available.

18 04 2012

With the addition of our great new Vocal Booth @ Wilde Rose Studio, i thought it was about time to open it up a bit more and use it for just more than recording vocals for our brilliant (If i do say so myself!) “Singing Experience” packages. I have recently been getting quite a few emails and phone calls, about Vocal Tuition & Vocal/Performance Coaching.  So, after much thought & deliberation i have decided to offer just that.

The doors are now open for Vocal Tuition of many varieties. Whatever genre you’d like to learn, i can help you be it Rock, Pop, Country, Punk, Soul, Disco ….. If it can be sung & you want to learn it, then please drop me a line @ dr dot vox at wilderosestudio dot co dot uk.  (Spam filter folks…. replace the obvious) ;)   I have had many years experience in singing (across many styles) performing and teaching and have helped many people improve beyond their expectations.

So there you have it….. if  you would like to know more or have any questions then please get in touch either by email or phone (Number below) ….. i’d love to hear from you. :) (0845 8383 488 – Local Call rate)

Thanks for reading.

DCB @ The Peel – Review.

18 01 2012

As you may (or may not?) know, i have been the lead vocalist with the Davod Cross Band (Ex King Crimson Violinist) since late 2007…. getting on for 5 years now…. how time flies! :)   In that time we’ve done many gigs both in the UK & Europe. One of the last gigs we did in 2011 has just been reviewed by none other than Classic Rock Magazine. It’s only a small piece but a very welcomed one nonetheless. I’ve included a picture of the clip here for those that are interested in such things….. hope you enjoy & thanks for reading. :)

Satellite Of Love

30 08 2011

SATELLITE OF LOVE! (Alien Design) Feat. Jinian Wilde.

Hot on the heels of the Italy Gig Fest comes a collaboration that i did the vocals on, with Lee Robinson of Exclusive Recordings. This track is full on 4 to the floor, with plenty of life & energy.  Check it out here and if you fancy supporting  and downloading the radio edit, & perhaps even a few remixes (one of which is the Fantastic “Distorted Frequency” Remix) then lucky for you it’s also available on Amazon! as well. :D

Post Italy 2011

3 08 2011

Back from the Italy “Mini Tour” and it came and went all too quickly! :D   It was however, great fun. We covered quite a lot of miles even though we were only there a short time, and all of the gigs were fantastic, with lovely audiences and really experienced sound crews!!

Lucca was an especially lovely gig,  due in part to the setting. If you have never been to Lucca, then you’re in for a treat if you eve do get the chance to go. It’s a wonderful place, full of the usual Italian hospitality, good wine & great food, or should i say Fantastic Wine and Amazing food? ;) If you would like to see the amazing town square (Which is actually Circular or “Eliptoid” maybe) where we played, have a look HERE!

And now we’re back….. so what now? Well, to start with, we’re currently trying to increase our exposure in the UK. To start this off, we’re hoping to get a gig at The Peel in Kingston (Upon Thams, Not Jamaica) ;)   Hopefully, this will be well attended and with the right people and a great gig, will lead to several more in the UK.

We’re also in the last stages of putting the new album together. Craig has decided to do all the drum parts again which is a brave choice and although it means extra work for him (If anyone can do it, Craig can!) it will really help make the album be the best that it can be.  I’ve just been sent some words (Written by the fabulous Richard W. Palmer-James) for one of the tracks on the album, which i shall be working on asap!

That’s about it for now. more news as and when it arrives. Until then, thanks, as always, to anyone and everyone that bothers to drop by & read these posts. It’s very much appreciated and thanks for your interest.

“Mini” Tour over….

18 07 2011

It’s done & dusted…. it’s official! The “David Cross Band” MiNi Tour for 2011 is ALMOST done…. i say “Almost” because chances are that we’re back over there again in a few weeks for a few more gigs, so maybe i should say that the “First Part” is done!?  Great fun, good gigs, lovely weather (Well hey, this is Italy we’re talking about after all) and some fantastic Pizza! What more can i say? I have posted some pictures on my facebook page, but hopefully, time permitting, i shall post some here as well.

What else? Well, still singing away doing tracks by the dozen for our wonderful friends Salli & David over at Paris Music! Also, the new Vocal Studio is coming along nicely as is the website…. all hand crafted by yours truly with Marina as my guiding light (Cos she’s wonderful). So far so good…. had some people in singing, they all Loved it, and we’re getting new enquiries every day!! Fantastic!

Off to Basildon later to do some more practice with the wonderful Mr Paul Rose (The “Rose” in Wilde Rose of course) for our imminent gig in September. So far so good…. we’re getting better and better every time we rehearse!

So, off for now as i have a rather wonderful Bon Jovi track to do for Paris Music…… As always, thanks for stopping by….. have a great day! :D

Jin interviewed by Paul Young of Wayland Radio 107.3 FM

12 06 2011

Today, whilst strolling around the Northwold Carnival with Marina & friends, i had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful “Paul Young” of Wayland Radio 107.3 FM. We sat down, had a wee chat about music & stuff, then we proceeded to do a short interview for the Station. Great day, great fun and if you’d like to hear the interview, i’ve posted it below…… Enjoy! ;)
